​Learning Services

Learning Services are a strategic component of any project. Our goal is to provide the appropriate venue so your staff is properly trained and possesses the knowledgeable to utilize IT systems, and perform routine maintenance. Our Learning Center offerings cover a broad range of services, from end user application training to highly technical system administrator courses. We develop custom courseware, deliver hands-on classroom training, train-the-trainer courses, and certified technical curriculum. These offerings can be delivered at your location, or in our state-of-the-art training facilities. We augment our training services with targeted Floor Support services to insure that end users have assimilated the relevant information.
 
Our staff maintains the highest level industry certifications, including MCSAs, MCSEs, MCTs, MCPs in various competencies, Cisco CNAs, IBM AIX Systems Admins, IBM System x/System p/System i Specialists, VMWare Certified Professionals and Technical Trainers, IBM Certified Instructors, Interwoven Certified Engineers and Trainers, just to name a few. The combination of industry and manufacturer's certifications with real-world experience, provides a learning experience which is unmatched among our peers. Custom End User Training

A significant challenge of any system application project is to ensure that the ultimate end users are properly trained to utilize the new application. Our training services are developed and delivered by Micro Strategies staff who are engaged with the project team from the onset. Unlike public courses, our course are tailored to the exact needs of the client and includes only relevant information for the target audience. Courses can be delivered in full day hands-on environments, off-hours seminar formats, and targeted lunch-and learn formats.
 
Along with custom training services, Micro Strategies develops custom courseware and unique Quick Reference Handouts, designed to provide users with ready references to their most common questions. Our ability to deliver training and supporting materials that emulate our clients' production environments, substantially decreases the time end-users spend assimilating relevant information, and increases their productivity and efficiency.

Based on the internal training resources available within the client's organization, Micro Strategies can offer custom courseware services and train-the-trainer curriculum.

Floor Support

As with any learning environment, it is very important to support the end users when they return to their workspaces to use the new system. The following day or two after the student has attended the course is vital to ensure that the student has assimilated the new concepts and put them into practice. Our unique Floor Support offering, provides a seasoned trainer who canvases the work area and provides one-on-one assistance to the end users after they have attended the course.

Administrator Training

Knowledge transfer is a critical component of transitioning project work to the internal IT staff. We offer system administration curriculum for all the projects we perform in order to ensure that departmental and IT support personnel are adequately trained to operate the system and perform level one trouble shooting.

Technical Courses

As the New York metropolitan area's first Business Partner Innovation Center (BPIC), Micro Strategies can educate your staff with one of the most comprehensive programs for infrastructure training nationwide. We can help you test, model, demo and benchmark a host of applications and architectures in our state-of-the-art facility. The BPIC is utilized to deliver certified technical courses in order to ensure client's IT staff is properly trained to configure and maintain their systems.

IMB Business Parter Innovation Center 
The BPIC is also used by client and partner organizations to test migration projects, validate upgrade and compatibility scenarios, perform proof-of-concept, and certify virtualization and high availability solutions.
