Description:
This position will be responsible specifically for the sale of Content Management products, Microsoft Technologies and professional services focusing on the Legal and Financial Services markets in the NJ/NYC area. This role will include identifying and qualifying new prospects and servicing existing customers; providing detailed product information and coordinating demos, quoting prices, working to ensure proper installation efforts after the sale, and all account oversight. The legal industry is one of our core industries, so specific experience selling in this industry and/or experience selling Content Management and/or Microsoft Technologies is required.
Minimum Requirements include:
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a face-to-face customer sales environment.
- Demonstrated experience and successful track record selling Content Management products, Microsoft Technologies, software solutions and professional services, a must.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify, propose and close systems /solutions /applications contracts.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding assigned annual sales quota while attaining sales objectives.
- Strong proven ability in developing and maintaining successful client relationships resulting in new business generation.
- Ability to function successfully both independently and in a team environment.
- Motivated self-starter with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel (most travel in the NY/NJ area).
- An existing book of business, client relationships and contacts to hit the ground running is a definite plus.
- Significant experience dealing with IBM/Microsoft based systems/ solutions / applications is preferred.
- Experience dealing with Interwoven or other Electronic Document Management Systems (such as Worksite, Documentum, Filenet, IBM Content Manager, etc.) is required.
